In a nutshell...
Sketcher & Maker is exactly who we are - a husband and wife team, John & Sarah, designing and making original homewares from our (very) small studio space in Yorkshire.
Drawing on our combined training in art & design and furniture making, we work together to produce a range of products which reflect our relaxed style and love of good craftsmanship. John’s original hand drawn illustrations are the starting point for all our designs which Sarah makes into beautiful handmade cushions, lampshades and bags - it really is a true cottage industry!
We use UK based printers for all our printing, with our greetings cards being printed in Cornwall, lampshade fabric in London and cushion fabric in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire.
